Note:
This process will start at the "Discovery - Discover Files and Directories located in Storage Systems" screen.
The "Discovery - Storage Systems" shows the discovered systems and their associated scan settings.
1. Click on the show all Storage Systems link.
All Storage System placeholders are displayed.
2. Click on the Local link under the STORAGE banner.
This will display the Storage Systems screen.
In this example the Storage System "Sample" is to be selected for removal.
3. Click on the Remove icon of the storage system(s) to be removed.
The system will provide the following pop-up confirmation message confirming that the identified resource is to be removed. "Are you sure you want to remove the Storage System?"
4. Click the Continue icon to enable removal of the storage system.
The system will provide the pop-up message of "Delete Storage System" while changes are being applied.
When the change has taken place, the refreshed Storage Systems page should show the requested storage system has been removed.
If the system you selected for removal is no longer listed, the removal process was successful.
5. Click on the Discovery link under the DATA SERVICES banner.
The Discovery screen should be displayed.
6. Click on the show all Storage Systems link.
Note:
The Storage System "Sample" is no longer listed.
This completes the deleting storage systems and connections using the Discovery process.
