The term "Cloud Storage System" represents a Cloud based storage resource (example: AWS Storage).
At times storage system details may need to be “edited” in order to make the storage system easier to identify.

To update the desired storage system details from the Discovery screen and enable it to be available for jobs perform the following steps:

In this example, starting from the Discovery - Cloud storage screen (title outlined in blue), the storage system details for "Local Host S3" (outlined in green) will be revised to add additional information.

1. Click on the Cloud Link under the STORAGE banner.

This will take the user to the Storage Systems screen (title outlined in blue).

2. Click on the Edit icon associated with the Local Host System Header to expand the display downward to show the details.

The Storage System screen will display the S3 - Local Host S3 (title outlined in blue) - Host settings form (outlined in green) that can be edited.

The field that can be edited is:

• Label

Below is an example of edited system details:

In this example the System Name will be changed from "Local Host" to "Local Host S3".

3. Click in the Label field.

4. Input S3 at the end of the Label.

5. Click on the Save Changes icon.

The system will provide the pop-up message of "Confirm Edit Host" (title outlined in blue) and "Settings - Old Value - New Value"(outlined in green).

10. Click on the Continue icon.

The system will provide the pop-up message of "Processing Request... please wait" while values are being updated.

After applying changes, the screen will refresh and return to the Storage Systems screen.
The system will post the system banner message of "Successfully updated Endpoint 'Local Host S3'" (outlined in blue).

The updated information will be displayed in the Local Host S3 system banner (outlined in blue).

8. Click on the Discovery link, located under the DATA SERVICES banner.

The display will transition to the Discovery - Storage Systems page.

9. Click on the Cloud Storage tab.

The updated Hosts details are presented (outlined in green).

This completes the process to edit a storage system's details found in the Discovery - Cloud Storage screen.
